How plank is practiced?
You can start your practice by putting your body on your knees and hands keeping your forearms lowered down. A perfect 90-degree angle needs to be created for maintaining a completely straight line right from your heel till your head top. I would suggest the beginners to have a proper guidance from any experienced plan instructor in order to position the body correctly during this exercise.
Mistakes to be avoided:
If you ask me about my personal experience then I would definitely try to highlight the mistakes which I did, I really do not want anybody else to repeat the same. Most people do the mistake of looking forward during this exercise and I am also one of them unfortunately. I tell you what exactly happens due to this mistake your neck will automatically come under strain and eventually your body form will get lost. My instructor told me to imagine a tennis-ball holding in between neck and chin as that will keep spine neutral and injury or pain can be easily avoided.
